Due to rapid growth, our client, a global FinTech/Crypto business, is seeking an experienced Head of Public Relations. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in fintech, particularly in the crypto market. You will collaborate closely with the CMO, Head of Brand, and the broader marketing team to drive impactful PR strategies.
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic PR Planning: Develop comprehensive PR plans encompassing brand awareness, B2B communication, and crisis management.
- Audience Engagement: Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively reach and engage them.
- Media Relations: Leverage existing relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure extensive media coverage.
- Event Coordination: Plan and manage press conferences and events to promote the brand.
- Media Training: Prepare and train key executives for media interviews and public appearances.
- Social Media Collaboration: Work with the social media team to ensure a cohesive online presence and monitor relevant channels.
- Crisis Management: Collaborate with compliance and reputation teams to address and manage any PR crises.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team and external agencies to maintain consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, news, and developments to adapt PR strategies accordingly.
- Budget Management: Effectively manage the PR budget to maximize ROI.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in public relations, specifically within the fintech or crypto sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of media relations and crisis communication.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Experience in developing and executing PR strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.
