In this on-site, full-time role, you will oversee showroom operations, drive sales performance, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Job Summary/Purpose

As the Showroom Manager, you will monitor and enhance the showroom’s vehicle sales, customer service quality, product displays, and the vehicle delivery process. Your goal is to optimize vehicle sales while maximizing the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).

Responsibilities

Operational Duties:

  1. Showroom Oversight: Regularly monitor the showroom both internally and externally to maintain cleanliness and ensure compliance with MNSS quality and hygiene standards.
  2. Product Display Management: Review the display of vehicles in the showroom to ensure maximum product coverage and visibility.
  3. Communication: Share visual aids, explanatory materials, and price lists with showroom staff to enhance customer interactions.
  4. Sales Staff Development: Evaluate and provide guidance on product demonstration techniques for sales staff, recommending best practices to improve effectiveness.
  5. Safety and Security: Ensure adherence to safety and security requirements within the showroom, in line with company policies.
  6. Sales Reporting: Regularly report sales figures and discuss new developments with management to keep all stakeholders informed.
  7. Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of the sales register and monitor showroom stock turnover to optimize inventory levels.
  8. Order Preparation: Prepare monthly orders for submission to management, ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
  9. Customer Transactions Coordination: Coordinate with the Certified/Used cars department on customer transactions to streamline the sales process.
  10. Marketing Contribution: Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans, including product launches, promotions, and advertising campaigns, to increase sales and market share.
  11. Staff Communication: Clearly communicate product development and promotional plans to staff to ensure proper understanding and implementation at all levels.
  12. Customer Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve escalated customer complaints promptly, ensuring solutions align with company policies and customer needs.
  13. Financial Coordination: Work closely with representatives from financial institutions to facilitate customer financing options.
  14. Documentation Review: Review cash and credit invoices, delivery notes, and traffic department documentation, ensuring submission to the sales office for approval and forwarding copies to the finance department.
  15. Office Supplies Management: Monitor inventory levels of stationary, electrical, and office supplies, ensuring adequate stock and budget compliance.
  16. Daily Vehicle Reservations: Supervise vehicle reservations made by sales staff on a daily basis to optimize scheduling and availability.
  17. Delivery Coordination: Collaborate with the Delivery Center to ensure timely vehicle deliveries to customers.

People Management:

  1. Staff Supervision: Assign duties to team members and assess their work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  2. Attendance Management: Monitor employee attendance, report absences, and prepare annual leave plans along with overtime sheets using SAP HCM for management approval.
  3. Policy Guidance: Explain and advise staff on group policies and quality standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff, equipping them with the necessary information and materials to perform their roles effectively.
  5. Grievance Handling: Address grievances raised by subordinates promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle sales management or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proven track record in sales and customer service.
    • Proficiency in using computer applications, including MS Office.
