Artificial Intelligence Engineer

EBLA Computer Consultancy is seeking an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team in Kuwait City, Al Asimah. Key Responsibilities

As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Model Development: Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms for various applications to meet business needs.
• Data Engineering: Ensure the quality and availability of data needed for model training and evaluation, enhancing the overall data pipeline.
• System Architecture: Architect and implement scalable machine learning systems that seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying cutting-edge techniques to tackle complex challenges.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and domain experts to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Code Quality and Best Practices: Maintain high standards for code quality and documentation while promoting best practices in machine learning and software engineering within the team.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement metrics to monitor model performance in production environments, making iterative improvements as needed.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) are a plus.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in machine learning and data science roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Java, along with experience in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Modeling Expertise: Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Data Handling: Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large datasets effectively.
• Deployment Knowledge: Familiarity with model deployment and scaling, including experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with MLOps and model management tools.
