Responsibilities
- Menu Creation: Develop innovative and seasonal menus that reflect culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with recipes and standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure kitchen efficiency.
- Training & Mentorship: Train junior kitchen staff and provide guidance to enhance their skills.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all food safety regulations and health standards are adhered to.
Qualifications
- Education: Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
- Skills: Strong culinary skills, creativity, and a passion for food; ability to work under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
