Responsibilities
As a Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a manual gearbox van to deliver goods to various locations.
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Loading and unloading goods as necessary, ensuring they are secured properly during transport.
- Maintaining the vehicle in good condition, including regular checks and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers, providing updates on delivery status.
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts.
- Assisting with any additional tasks as required by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Visa Type: Must hold an Article 18 transferable (Ahli) visa.
- Language Skills: Basic knowledge of Arabic is required to communicate effectively with clients and local authorities.
- Driving Skills: Proven ability to drive a manual gearbox van safely and efficiently.
- Experience: Previous experience in a delivery driving role is preferred.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
