Responsibilities
- Electrical Installations:
- Install, replace, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment in residential properties.
- Set up electrical panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures like chandeliers and recessed lighting.
- Perform exterior and interior lighting installations.
- Maintenance and Repairs:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and other electrical devices.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure system safety and reliability.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Use appropriate tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety.
- Ensure all electrical work is done with a focus on safety and precision.
- Customer Service:
- Communicate with homeowners to assess their electrical needs.
- Provide clear explanations of work performed and recommendations for follow-up.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering quality service.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including installations and repairs.
- Report any issues or changes to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a residential electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs.
- Understanding of local and national electrical codes.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely.
