Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning) projects, including key milestones and critical paths.
- Progress Reporting and Delay Analysis: Monitor project progress, update schedules, identify slippage, and analyze delays. Prepare progress reports and suggest recovery action plans.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Primavera P6 for scheduling and analysis, and handle large data sets using MS Excel or other computerized systems.
- Data Management: Create and maintain project histograms, S-Curves, and weightages for progress measurement systems.
- Site Verification: Visit work sites periodically to verify progress and ensure alignment with project schedules.
- Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Review contractor and consultant planning deliverables, attend progress meetings, and provide valuable inputs.
- Tender Analysis and Estimation: Review tender documents, prepare clarifications, and develop accurate estimations. Prepare MTO & BOQ, monitor quotations, and compare technical and commercial offers from vendors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Oil & Gas projects with EPC companies.
- Skills: Expertise in Primavera P6 and advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Location: Must be based in Kuwait with a transferable residency.
- Availability: Immediate availability is preferred.
