As a Full-Stack Engineer (Python/React), you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our products, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams in a small, independent setup.
- Maintain and Scale Products: Take ownership of a currently profitable product, making decisions that directly impact user experience.
- Develop and Enhance APIs: Design and implement APIs to facilitate smooth interactions between front-end and back-end systems.
- Optimize Performance: Identify areas for optimization and automation in workflows, ensuring efficient product performance.
- Support and Mentor: Guide new engineers in their development, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years as a Software Engineer with at least 2 years in Python using server frameworks (Flask/Django).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Beanstalk, CloudFront, RDS).
- Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM libraries (Django’s ORM, Sequelize).
- Experience with Docker and API development.
- Test Automation: Familiarity with functional and performance test automation.
