Job Introduction:
As an IT Admin and Desktop Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from supporting users to managing servers and networks.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Skills:
- Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain Windows Servers and Redhat-based Linux Servers.
- Design, install, and support networks in various client environments.
- Administer PostgreSQL Database (L1/L2 level).
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Cloud solutions, Redhat Linux, Antivirus, and cloud backup solutions.
- Manage Linux server security patching procedures.
- Implement Microsoft Intune MDM for mobile device management.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including cabling and equipment.
- Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages like Bash or Ansible.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network problems and implement solutions.
- Repair and maintain basic IT equipment like CCTV, HDMI connections, and projectors (discuss during interview).
- Soft Skills:
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with users and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest IT trends.
Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, desktop engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Windows Servers and Redhat-based Linux Servers.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Cloud solutions.
- Experience with ISO27001 security standards (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Cloud solutions, Redhat Linux, Antivirus software, and cloud backup solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- ITIL certifications (IT Infrastructure Library).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning).
- Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken).
