A reputable company in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical/UPS Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UPS installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UPS systems.
- Perform electrical load calculations and power distribution tasks.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including battery failures, circuit faults, and system malfunctions.
- Monitor and manage UPS systems through relevant software.
- Ensure all UPS systems are functioning optimally to prevent downtime or failure.
- Provide technical expertise for AC/DC circuits and power distribution in various settings.
- Collaborate with team members and offer guidance on best practices and safety measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or certifications from UPS manufacturers.
- Extensive knowledge of UPS systems including online, offline, and line-interactive UPS.
- Strong foundation in AC/DC circuits, electrical load calculations, and power distribution.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to address and resolve electrical issues promptly.
- Familiarity with UPS monitoring and management software.
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
- Able to join immediately.
Experience:
- 10 years of hands-on experience in UPS installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Previous experience working with different types of UPS equipment and electrical systems.
