A leading HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) contracting company in Salmiya, Kuwait, is seeking a skilled and experienced Draftsman to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the design and development of HVAC systems for various projects.
Responsibilities (Specific duties may vary.)
- Prepare and interpret technical drawings, including schematics, layouts, and equipment details, for HVAC systems.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed HVAC system plans.
- Collaborate with engineers and other project team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and comply with relevant building codes.
- Conduct calculations to determine equipment sizing, ductwork requirements, and airflow rates.
- Prepare technical documentation for HVAC systems, including bills of materials and equipment specifications (discuss during interview).
- May assist with site surveys and field measurements (discuss during interview).
- Stay up-to-date on the latest HVAC technologies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in using CAD software for HVAC design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Excellent understanding of HVAC principles, equipment, and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
