Al Shuhada, a company based in Kuwait City, is seeking a motivated and qualified Junior Quantity Surveyor (JQS) to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from tenders, contracts, and construction drawings.
- Develop bills of quantities (BOQs) and bills of materials (BOMs) based on tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Maintain accurate databases of materials, costs, labor rates, and other relevant quantities.
- Assist senior quantity surveyors with other tasks as assigned (discuss during interview).
Qualifications
- College degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or demonstrably relevant experience).
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent English comprehension and writing skills.
- Proficiency in construction software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Planswift, Excel, or Microsoft Access (an advantage).
