Aturaat Com, a company located in Kuwait, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Officer to join their team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring a secure, efficient, and reliable IT environment for all users.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Administer and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols and procedures.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Oversee IT purchases and ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure (discuss during interview).
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
- Assist with user account management and access controls (discuss during interview).
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery procedures (discuss during interview).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Technology or a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Expertise in Windows server platforms, including Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
