A school in Dasma, Kuwait is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Junior IT Support Technician to join their team!
In this role, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the school’s technology infrastructure and ensuring a smooth learning experience for students and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for teachers, staff, and students.
- Maintain classroom technology: Keep interactive whiteboards, projectors, computers, and other educational tools functioning properly.
- Assist users: Offer support with educational platforms, learning management systems, and productivity tools.
- Perform routine maintenance: Install updates, run antivirus scans, and ensure the security of all IT systems.
- Train others: Assist in providing basic IT training to staff and students.
- Collaborate with the IT team: Work closely with the IT Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the school’s IT systems.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred (but not mandatory).
- 0-2 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in an educational environment.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work well with children, teachers, and non-technical staff.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, especially those used in education.
