We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Merchant Operations Officer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting merchant relationships within our banking network.
Responsibilities
- Onboard new merchants onto our banking platform.
- Process merchant applications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and assistance to merchants regarding card acceptance and payment processing.
- Resolve merchant disputes and inquiries.
- Monitor and analyze merchant performance metrics.
- Utilize bank card systems (PowerCard Switch, CMS) and the KNET portal for merchant management and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
- Understanding of banking systems and processes (a plus).
- Experience using bank card systems like PowerCard Switch and CMS (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in Arabic (reading and writing) for entering merchant details into the KNET portal.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (banking experience a plus, but not mandatory).
