This position is fully remote, with candidates welcome from anywhere in the EMEA region. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our talented SW Engineering team. You will tackle complex engineering challenges, contributing to both new solutions and the enhancement of existing systems.
Responsibilities
- Customer Focus: Collaborate with product management to implement customer-requested features, ensuring a user-centric approach.
- Full Project Ownership: Oversee all phases of projects from inception to production, including design, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Technical Leadership: Contribute to architectural decisions and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
- System Optimization: Analyze and enhance backend systems for improved performance, scalability, and reliability.
- eBPF Sensor Development: Develop and refine our eBPF-based sensor to provide in-depth visibility into Kubernetes clusters for proactive threat detection.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver exceptional features and solutions.
Qualifications
- Required:
- EU citizenship or valid work permit.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with OS internals, Linux networking, and file systems.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a high-level programming language (e.g., Golang, Java, C, Python).
- 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms and products (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience in implementing data-intensive systems (databases, event systems, messaging systems, etc.).
- Solid understanding of microservices-based architecture.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing eBPF code.
