A leading F&B company in Kuwait City is seeking talented and motivated individuals to fill two exciting positions: Jr. Purchasing Officer and Demand Planner. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with a desire to enter the F&B industry.
Job Introduction:
As a Jr. Purchasing Officer or Demand Planner, you will play a vital role in supporting the company’s procurement and inventory management processes. You will gain valuable experience working within a dynamic team and contributing to the success of the F&B operations.
Jr. Purchasing Officer:
- Responsibilities:
- Source and procure food and beverage supplies according to company needs and budget.
- Obtain quotes from vendors and negotiate prices.
- Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and purchase transactions.
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure quality control (discuss during interview).
- Qualifications:
- F&B industry experience (preferred).
- Strong understanding of procurement principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using purchasing software (discuss during interview).
- Fluency in Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking) (mandatory).
- Valid Kuwaiti driver’s license (mandatory).
Demand Planner:
- Responsibilities:
- Forecast food and beverage demand based on sales trends and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain inventory plans to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Analyze sales data and identify purchasing requirements.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure efficient procurement.
- Monitor market trends and adjust plans as needed.
- Qualifications:
- F&B industry experience (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with demand planning tools or software (discuss during interview).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking) (mandatory).
- Valid Kuwaiti driver’s license (mandatory).
