A reputable environmental and chemical laboratory in Ahmadi, Kuwait is seeking a qualified Chemist or Senior Chemist to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical analyses of water, soil, and/or oil samples according to established protocols.
- Prepare and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.
- Interpret test results and prepare reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- May assist with training junior staff (for Senior Chemist position).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water, soil, and/or oil testing within a laboratory setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
