We are currently seeking an Industrial Inspector/Sales Coordinator to join our team in Kuwait. This role involves managing inspection projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting sales and business development efforts.

Responsibilities

As an Industrial Inspector/Sales Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating Third-Party Inspections (TPI) for both local and global vendor inspection projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
  • Liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to schedule and manage inspections.
  • Preparing and managing Inspection Assignment Packages, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), client directives, drawings, and checklists.
  • Reviewing inspection reports, material release notes, and ensuring their accuracy before submission to clients.
  • Monitoring inspector timesheets, expenses, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Tracking inspection progress using internal systems, ensuring the timely submission of required documents and certifications.
  • Conducting and coordinating welding inspections according to ASME/AWS/BS Standards.
  • Performing coating inspections per project and client specifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, including ASNT Level II in PAUT/TOFD, UT, RT, MPT, and LPT.
  • Supporting the development of new business opportunities by maintaining client relationships, identifying potential leads, and assisting in the preparation of proposals.
  • Assisting in pre- and post-award contract activities, including the preparation of tender documentation and coordinating with technical teams.
  • Supporting contract negotiations to ensure compliance with internal and client standards.
  • Preparing monthly sales reports and forecasts to assist the Business Development team.
  • Maintaining the company’s CRM, ensuring accurate client information and tracking business development activities.
  • Serving as a secondary point of contact for key clients regarding inspection-related queries.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and providing regular updates on inspection statuses.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • KSE Membership (required).
  • ASNT Level II certification in UT, RT, MPT, and LPT.
  • CSWIP 3.1 certification (mandatory).
  • BGAS Grade 2 or AMPP Certified Coating Inspector (advantageous).
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience with a TPI company, focusing on inspection coordination, welding inspections, and business development in the oil and gas sector within Kuwait.
  • A proven track record of managing Third-Party Inspections and coordinating large-scale inspection projects.
  • Experience in contract management and sales support is highly desirable.
