We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with proven tendering experience with KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) and KNPC (Kuwait National Petroleum Company). This role involves managing sales, sourcing, and logistics activities for materials on behalf of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas sector in Kuwait and a solid track record of successful tendering.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage sales, sourcing, and logistics activities for materials.
- Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials, components, and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the supply chain.
- Focus on achieving cost savings and maintaining high standards of quality and value.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with KOC and KNPC, leveraging previous tendering experience.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (required).
- Proven experience in tendering with KOC and KNPC.
- Strong background in the oil and gas sector in Kuwait.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to manage logistics and ensure timely delivery.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
