Responsibilities:

As a sales representative, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to attract new clients and expand the customer base for our freight forwarding services.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients by regularly following up, addressing inquiries, and offering solutions to their shipping needs.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets by actively reaching out to prospective clients through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities, understand client needs, and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Providing detailed information to customers about our freight forwarding services, pricing, and operational processes.
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations tailored to the client’s business needs and negotiating contracts and pricing.
  • Collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination of customer shipments and services.
  • Maintaining accurate sales records and reporting progress to management on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Transferable Visa for non-Kuwaiti applicants.
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding industries is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a proactive team player.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • A high degree of motivation, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Valid Kuwaiti driver’s license is a plus, as client meetings may be required.
