Role Overview
As an Account Executive, SMB for the Italian market, you will play a key role in driving Deel’s growth by helping small and medium-sized businesses adopt our global hiring platform. You will manage inbound leads, make sales presentations, and build strong relationships with clients to achieve revenue targets. You will be the voice of Deel, ensuring companies understand the full potential of our platform while contributing to our long-term SMB strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high volume of sales presentations to prospective SMB clients, utilizing effective time management to maximize selling opportunities.
- Drive account penetration and sales within an assigned SMB territory, focusing on both inbound leads and outbound activities like calls, emails, and social selling.
- Master the art of consultative selling and qualification, using “Command of the Message” strategies to clearly communicate the value of Deel’s platform.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce (SFDC), including accounts, opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Stay knowledgeable on Deel’s product roadmap, industry trends, and competitive landscape to provide customers with relevant and timely information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine Deel’s SMB strategy by offering feedback on market opportunities and trends.
- Represent Deel at industry events and leverage partnerships and marketing materials to generate top-of-funnel leads.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a quota-carrying, closing role in high-velocity B2B SaaS sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to discover client needs, negotiate, and close deals.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce and other sales tools to manage opportunities and customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Italian.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and a strong team player, with a positive attitude and willingness to continuously improve.
