We have an urgent requirement for Expeditors and Buyers for our projects in the UAE, particularly in the oil and gas sector. This position is ideal for candidates with relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and expedite the procurement process to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices and terms of contracts.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure compliance with delivery timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess quality and pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand procurement needs and specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Expeditor or Buyer, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Experience working in the UAE is highly advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
