Responsibilities

  • Fleet Inventory Management: Maintain detailed records of all company vehicles, including make, model, purchase date, current mileage, and outstanding repairs.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Manage and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities for the fleet, ensuring timely completion of services.
  • Monitoring Compliance: Oversee GPS tracking for vehicles, ensuring all are properly insured and registered.
  • Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with third-party vendors for maintenance and repair services; follow up on service appointments to ensure timely repairs.
  • Fuel and Mileage Tracking: Maintain records of fuel card usage and vehicle mileage for accurate billing and reporting.
  • Incident Reporting: Report vehicle accidents or incidents to insurance companies and relevant legal departments as necessary.
  • Schedule Development: Develop and maintain schedules for routine vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Inspection and Analysis: Conduct periodic vehicle inspections and monitor fleet data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Work with Points of Contact (POC) from various departments to resolve fleet-related issues.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly reports related to fleet operations and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or Technical Institute degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in the automotive field, preferably in fleet management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Effective communication and professional response skills.
    • Capability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in MS Office and fleet management software.
    • Familiarity with regulations related to vehicle maintenance and safety.
