Al Mulla Electronics Company (AMX) is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Head of Sales for our B2C operations. In partnership with a global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, the successful candidate will lead a dynamic team focused on managing retailer and channel partner relationships. This role is crucial for driving business growth and ensuring exceptional customer experiences through strategic sales initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Account Planning & Forecasting:
- Develop and execute internal portfolio strategies based on data analysis.
- Implement marketing, promotional, and merchandising strategies.
- Integrate new product launch strategies into annual business plans.
- Identify business opportunities and devise solutions.
- Regularly evaluate progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify potential opportunities.
- Customer Excellence:
- Build strong relationships across customer touchpoints to enhance cross-selling and up-selling.
- Prepare and present strategic plans for customer alignment.
- Hold regular meetings with retailers, channel partners, and customers.
- Collaborate with training teams to enhance product knowledge.
- Scout for new retailers and ensure optimal in-store displays.
- Plan Execution:
- Oversee the implementation of plans with retailers and partners.
- Manage inventory and sell-through while conducting scenario planning.
- Financial Planning:
- Create collaborative scorecards for periodic reviews.
- Sales Growth and Operations:
- Lead sales growth for B2C operations in consumer electronics, home appliances, and IT solutions.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute joint business plans with partners to enhance market share.
- Sales Forecasting and Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers to project sales and ensure inventory goals are met.
- Networking and Referrals:
- Leverage existing contacts to explore new business opportunities.
- Product Knowledge:
- Attain comprehensive product knowledge to effectively market solutions.
- Training and Empowerment:
- Educate Key Account Managers and partners on product features and sales techniques.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Executive training in business management is preferred.
- Knowledge in electronics or a related technical field is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSAM, CPSP) are advantageous.
Experience:
- 10 – 13 years in the Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances industry.
- Proven track record in team management and sales growth.
- Experience in strategic planning, account management, and customer relationship management.
Skills:
- Proficient in strategic planning, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Strong relationship-building and solution sales skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and guide team collaboration.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales management software.
- Deep understanding of compliance regulations related to the industry.
