Responsibilities
As an IKEA Food & Beverage Team Leader – Kitchen, your key responsibilities include:
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared and served in accordance with IKEA’s high standards for quality and hygiene.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure efficiency and team success.
- Food Quality Control: Ensure that all food products meet health and safety regulations and that the highest standards of food presentation and preparation are maintained.
- Customer Satisfaction: Monitor food service delivery to provide a seamless customer experience. Address customer feedback proactively to enhance satisfaction.
- Cost Management: Manage kitchen resources effectively, focusing on cost-conscious practices and ensuring minimal food waste while maintaining high service levels.
- Sustainability: Embrace IKEA’s commitment to sustainability by finding ways to reduce waste and improve energy efficiency within the kitchen operations.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all kitchen activities comply with IKEA’s supply chain and security policies. Immediately report any security breaches to management.
- Collaboration: Work with colleagues across various departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues related to kitchen services.
Qualifications & Experience
