Kana Group is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that foster employee growth and align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Needs Analysis:
- Conduct assessments to identify training and development needs across various departments.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand specific learning requirements.
- Program Design and Development:
- Create engaging learning programs, workshops, and courses tailored to diverse skill levels.
- Utilize various instructional methods, including e-learning and in-person workshops.
- Training Delivery:
- Facilitate training sessions focused on leadership, soft skills, technical skills, and organizational culture.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized training as needed.
- Learning Evaluation:
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Refine training content based on evaluations and organizational needs.
- Learning Technology:
- Manage learning management systems (LMS) to deliver and track employee development programs.
- Stay updated on new learning technologies and trends.
- Career Development:
- Support employees in career development with coaching and guidance on learning opportunities.
- Develop personalized development plans for key talents.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the People & Culture team to align training initiatives with HR strategies.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate training with performance management efforts.
- Compliance Training:
- Ensure timely delivery of mandatory compliance training and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in learning and development or HR.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in LMS and e-learning platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness.
