We are looking for a Principal Advisor – ATM Solutions to join our international team in the GCC region. This is a senior consultancy role, offering independent oversight and strategic advice to ensure that NATS continues to meet and exceed operational, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
As the Principal Advisor – ATM Solutions, your key duties will include:
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advising management on industry trends and best practices for Air Navigation Services (ANS).
- Customer Engagement: Understand the needs and challenges of airports and aviation partners, helping them realize their vision while enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Operational Oversight: Provide advice and oversight on operational activities to meet or surpass operational and safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate closely with aviation regulators to ensure that operations comply with local and international regulations.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic initiatives to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of air traffic management services.
- Budget Management: Monitor budgets, forecasts, and performance against targets, offering corrective advice when needed to stay aligned with financial goals.
- Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.
- External Reporting: Coordinate the creation of required reports for external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- Process Improvement: Analyze operational processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, safety, and service delivery.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experience:
- ATC Consultancy/Management Experience: Extensive experience in air traffic control (ATC) consultancy or management, with deep insights into the operational environment of air navigation services.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership with personal integrity, capable of guiding teams and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong data interpretation skills, enabling informed decision-making based on operational performance and safety metrics.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
