Procurement Officer – Foreign & Local Procurement

We are actively seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team in Kuwait City. This role is essential in managing and executing procurement processes for both local and international supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with the ability to negotiate effectively and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Management: Oversee and manage procurement processes for local and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends to inform procurement decisions.
• Purchase Orders: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Cost Control: Monitor procurement expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts and purchase agreements.

Qualifications

• Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
• Experience: Proven experience in local procurement; international procurement experience is an added advantage.
• Language Skills: Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Education: Relevant degree or certification in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.
