Responsibilities
As a Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives, you will have a variety of critical responsibilities to ensure the success of our projects. Your main duties will include:

  1. Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of strategic projects, ensuring they align with the overall goals of Mezzan Foods. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your ability to prioritize tasks and resources effectively will be essential for meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
  2. Stakeholder Management & Communication: Engage with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, shareholders, and cross-functional teams. Clearly define and communicate project objectives, serving as the key point of contact for updates. Facilitate regular meetings to keep stakeholders informed of progress, challenges, and risks. Utilize your strong emotional intelligence (EQ) to navigate complex situations, influence decisions, and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  3. Monitoring & Reporting: Track and monitor project progress proactively, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Prepare and present regular status reports to the Head of PMO and senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations. Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the success of initiatives and identify areas for future improvement.
  4. Resource & Budget Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, budgets, and external vendors, to ensure efficient use of assets in achieving project objectives. Coordinate with department heads to allocate necessary resources and support for strategic initiatives effectively.
  5. Process Improvement & Adaptability: Continuously review project management processes to identify and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Demonstrate adaptability in managing changing project requirements and priorities, ensuring high-quality outcomes despite tight deadlines.

Qualifications
To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a strategy consulting practice or a similar project management role. Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and shareholders.
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
  • Education: A degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred.
