Responsibilities

  • Monitor Food Quality: Ensure that all food preparation processes meet strict food safety and quality standards.
  • Hygiene and Safety Inspections: Conduct routine checks of the kitchen, dining areas, storage spaces, and sanitation facilities to ensure hygiene regulations are adhered to.
  • Supplier Quality Audits: Oversee the quality of raw ingredients delivered by suppliers, and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for improving food quality, safety standards, and staff training. Stay updated on industry best practices and implement changes to enhance overall quality.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of food safety standards such as HACCP or ISO 22000. Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service principles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
    • Ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions.
    • Analytical mindset to monitor trends and make improvements.
