We are seeking experienced Sales Development and Business Development professionals for a Sales Development Team Lead role with our employer partner located in Germany. This role is crucial for driving sales strategy and leading a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
Role Overview
As the Sales Development Team Lead, you will:
- Recruit, Develop, and Coach: Hire, train, and provide ongoing coaching to SDRs and BDRs, ensuring they have the skills necessary to excel in their roles.
- Set Performance Targets: Establish clear performance targets for the team, enabling tracking of high-performance standards.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Sales Operations and Marketing to develop effective lead generation and qualification processes for maximum efficiency and conversion.
- Liaise with External Partners: Act as the primary communication point with our external sales partners.
- Implement Best Practices: Enforce best practices for outbound prospecting and lead nurturing to achieve optimal results with your team.
- Monitor Sales Tools: Assess and improve the use of sales tools (e.g., CRM, outbound tools) to enhance productivity and effectiveness across the team.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role focused on outbound acquisition and lead qualification.
- Strong track record of implementing and utilizing sales tools for lead generation and customer acquisition.
- In-depth understanding of the power and energy market and related technologies to identify and prioritize ideal customers.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset and focus on results.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
