Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify areas for improvement within the supply chain.
    • Create processes and methods for gathering supply chain data effectively.
  • Optimization Projects:
    • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects, such as warehouse slotting and route planning.
    • Develop and monitor inventory policies to establish accountability for both tactical and strategic outcomes.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical and analytical support to improve the quality and timeliness of supply chain processes.
    • Introduce lean methodologies to streamline operations throughout the organization.
  • Requirements Development:
    • Develop requirements and standards for packaging, procurement, and delivery processes.
    • Oversee inventory procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cost Management:
    • Discover cost-effective shipping modes and schedules to optimize transportation.
    • Evaluate vendor operations (e.g., freight forwarders) based on quality standards.
  • Collaboration:
    • Foster trusting relationships with business partners and collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective supply chain systems.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on the overall performance of the supply chain.

Candidate Requirements

  • Nationality: Preferably Kuwaiti National
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, or a similar role.
    • Background in data mining, analysis, and reporting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with supply chain processes, including inventory planning and warehouse management.
    • Proficient in MS Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Outstanding organizational ability and effective communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
