Talabat mart (tMart) delivers groceries to customers in record time—30 minutes or less—in Bahrain, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE.

We are looking for a Senior Coordinator Quality Control to join our growing team in Kuwait. This role will ensure the highest standards of quality, freshness, and food safety for products moving through our distribution center, maintaining Talabat’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality, freshness, and food safety of products from suppliers through distribution centers to stores.
  • Product Inspection: Inspect inbound and outbound products to ensure they meet predefined quality standards.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure 3rd party compliance with Talabat policies related to stock management, including inbound, storage, handling, and outbound processes.
  • Team Communication: Collaborate with the commercial team to address quality concerns for products received at the distribution center.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Conduct regular cycle counts and ensure ready-to-ship orders meet quality standards.
  • Issue Reporting: Report and escalate significant issues to inventory control (IC) management promptly.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor warehouse activities and practices, preparing detailed management and technical reports for further improvements.
  • Staff Training: Identify training needs for 3rd party staff and recommend required improvements to management.
  • Policy Implementation: Review the implementation of approved policies, procedures, and quality standards to maintain operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or Retail business.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and inventory tracking.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
