Senior Graphic Designer – VML

Responsibilities

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Conceptualizing and executing original designs that align with branding and marketing strategies to create compelling visuals.
• Leading and inspiring junior designers, offering guidance and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborating closely with the creative team to brainstorm innovative ideas and bring fresh perspectives to various projects.
• Managing design projects independently from concept through execution, ensuring the timely delivery of work within scope, budget, and deadlines.
• Presenting creative concepts effectively to internal stakeholders and clients, communicating the vision behind the designs.
• Staying updated with the latest design trends, digital best practices, and industry innovations to keep designs current and relevant.
• Conducting research on competitors and target audiences to inform design decisions and ensure relevance.
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative agency culture, sharing insights and ideas to foster creativity and innovation.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative design role, preferably within an agency setting.
• A proven track record of developing and executing successful design campaigns.
• An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates strong design principles, including typography, color theory, and visual communication.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Experience with photography, video editing, and animation is a plus.
• Strong conceptual and strategic thinking abilities to inform and elevate designs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional time management skills, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A positive, proactive, and results-oriented attitude.
