Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Lead the development of a social media strategy aligned with the marketing infrastructure supporting ADU’s strategies.
  • Benchmark with local and international universities to review best practices and ROI on social media expenditure.
  • Assist the Senior Marketing Manager in developing and adhering to the social media annual budget.
  • Manage, coach, and lead the social media team.

Social Media Communication Duties

  • Plan and execute crisis management procedures regarding communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish workflows for digital communication procedures across all utilized mediums.
  • Develop strategies and programs for ADU’s digital applications, including the website, mobile application, and all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to build communications plans leveraging social media.
  • Write content for all ADU’s social media channels.
  • Manage internal and external social media communication projects.
  • Set goals to enhance ADU’s presence on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Monitor all digital mediums daily.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create branded social media campaign assets.
  • Ensure high standards of customer relationship management with stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze the impact of enrollment from social media efforts.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct daily and weekly data analysis reports of the university’s social media activity.
  • Provide feedback and advice based on social media research.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor’s in Marketing or Digital Marketing.

Experience

  • Years of Experience: 6-8 years in marketing, social media, or content-related roles, preferably within an agency.

Language Skills

  • Bilingual: Proficient in English and Arabic.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing, and executing social media initiatives.
  • Proven experience in planning social media programs.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Proficient in using social media management and analytics tools like HootSuite.
  • Experienced in writing and editing content for the social media space.
  • Committed, organized, and able to work under pressure with attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
