Key Responsibilities

  • Business Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive business plans for product lines, including phasing and reforecasting.
  • Merchandising Oversight: Oversee merchandising activities and retail buying while ensuring compliance with brand standards at the departmental level.
  • Data Analysis: Provide detailed, data-driven recommendations for new product initiatives and enhancements based on market trends.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and track financial performance, offering insights for improvement.
  • Merchandise Financial Plans: Coordinate the development, execution, and communication of Merchandise Financial Plans across departments.
  • Stock Management: Manage stock mix in accordance with budget and trend analysis to optimize inventory levels.
  • Inventory Productivity: Analyze inventory productivity at category, store, and brand levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess.
  • Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales and margins for various product lines to support strategic decision-making.
  • Seasonal Analysis: Prepare seasonal analysis reports, including sales plans, product phasing, and actionable recommendations for future planning.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in merchandising, retail buying, and business planning is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, especially in inventory management, sales forecasting, and margin planning.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to conduct trend analysis and provide actionable insights based on data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
  • Financial Acumen: Familiarity with retail financial management, including P&L reporting and merchandise financial planning.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to forecast trends and optimize stock levels effectively.
  • Visa: Must have a transferable residency visa.
