Key Responsibilities
As the Videographer and Animator Specialist, you will take on various exciting tasks, including:
Video Production
- Plan and Shoot: Develop, shoot, and edit engaging video content for various platforms such as social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate: Work alongside the creative and marketing teams to ensure that video content aligns with our brand messaging and visual standards.
- Set Up Equipment: Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during video shoots to capture the best possible footage.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure that all video projects are delivered on schedule without compromising quality.
Animation
- Create Animations: Design captivating 2D and 3D animations that enhance video content or serve as standalone projects.
- Develop Motion Graphics: Create motion graphics, text animations, and other visual elements that elevate the quality of our content.
- Storyboard and Design: Work on animation projects from the initial concept through to execution, including storyboarding and character design.
Post-Production
- Editing Duties: Perform video editing, color correction, sound design, and add special effects to polish the final product.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all animations and videos meet both technical and creative standards of the brand.
- Collaboration for Feedback: Collaborate with other departments to gather feedback and ensure the final product meets project goals and deadlines.
Equipment Management
- Maintain Equipment: Take care of video and audio equipment, ensuring that all tools are functioning properly.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest video production and animation software and hardware to enhance our creative capabilities.
Content Optimization
- Platform Optimization: Ensure that video content is tailored for different platforms (social media, web, etc.) to maximize engagement.
- Trend Awareness: Stay informed about current trends in video and animation to create engaging and relevant content.
Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in video production and animation, preferably within a creative or marketing team.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and animation software (Adobe After Effects, Blender, etc.).
- Animation Knowledge: Solid understanding of 2D and 3D animation techniques.
- Creative Eye: Strong creativity and attention to detail in visual composition.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Portfolio Requirement
Candidates must provide a portfolio showcasing their previous work in videography and animation. This is crucial for demonstrating your creativity and skills to the hiring team.
