We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our team at Weatherford. This critical role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency within our business unit, contributing to strategic planning, and fostering strong relationships with our workforce and clients. The successful candidate will address tooling requirements and participate in business development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Training: Attend product line-specific training sessions and complete required computer-based training as per the Learning Plan.
- Equipment Handling: Assemble, disassemble, and prepare rental equipment according to work instructions.
- Tool Preparation: Assemble liner systems and conduct tool preparation and testing.
- Measurement Equipment: Identify and utilize measurement equipment as per calibration logs and work instructions.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Liner Systems products and correctly identify all tools and components.
- Performance Improvement: Recommend measures to enhance methods, performance, and quality for increased efficiency.
- Shop Support: Assist in the shop, make deliveries, and attend required safety training.
- Availability: Be available for 24-hour on-call duty and travel for extended periods as needed.
- Compliance: Understand and comply with Weatherford’s Quality Policy, Quality Systems Manual, and safety rules.

- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to follow instructions and work independently with a commitment to service quality.
- Emergency Response: Physical ability to respond to emergency situations quickly.
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license, forklift, and overhead crane certifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Liner Systems, with preference given to candidates holding a mechanical or petroleum diploma.
