Urgent Hiring: Mechanical Technician (Rotary) – Ahmadi, Kuwait

Almeer is seeking two qualified Mechanical Technicians (Rotary) to join their team in Ahmadi, Kuwait. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in maintaining and repairing sewage water treatment plant machinery.

The Project:

This position is part of an ongoing Sewage Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Contract with the Ministry of Public Works. You’ll be contributing to the smooth operation and efficient maintenance of critical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, replace, overhaul, and perform precise alignment of pump motors, compressors, and other rotating equipment within the sewage water treatment plant.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in a work environment focused on safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in repairing and maintaining rotary equipment, preferably within a sewage water treatment plant setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized equipment for mechanical repairs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fundamental proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
