Mar Recruitment & Consulting is seeking a skilled Vessel ICT Technician to join an Engineering Oil & Gas Company, working onboard their offshore vessel. Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Work in coordination with the electrical team on ICT and communication tasks, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintenance Planning: Plan electrical maintenance activities and report to the Electrical Lead / Chief Engineer.
- HSE Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Quality procedures and practices.
- Equipment Monitoring: Monitor and control onboard electrical/electronic equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Define maintenance priorities and propose maintenance schedules to optimize equipment uptime.
- Inventory Management: Propose necessary material stock levels to your superior to maintain workflow continuity.
- ICT Efficiency: Ensure the efficiency and maintenance of ICT equipment, including servers, communication antennas, and telephone systems.
- IT Compliance: Implement modifications needed for the vessel to meet project IT requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management infrastructure, preferably in a maritime or offshore environment.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Cisco infrastructure systems, with the capability to manage L3 switches and VLANs.
- Cybersecurity Awareness: Ability to interface IT and IoT networks while adhering to company cybersecurity restrictions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

- Contract Duration: Position valid until 30.06.2025, with the potential for extension based on administrative needs.
- Working Schedule: 35 working days followed by 35 days off, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
