We are seeking a Cashier cum Waiter to join our dynamic team at a multi-cuisine restaurant in Fahaheel, Kuwait. This role requires a candidate who can efficiently manage cashier duties while providing excellent customer service as a waiter. Multilingual candidates with transferable Visa 18 are highly preferred. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers, providing a warm and friendly dining experience.
- Accurately process orders and manage cash or card transactions using the restaurant’s POS system.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that the dining area is clean and organized at all times.
- Answer customer queries regarding the menu and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Process billing and manage any discrepancies or customer inquiries related to payments.
- Assist in restocking supplies, cleaning tables, and maintaining the restaurant’s cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing complaints or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role as a cashier and/or waiter in a restaurant setting.
- Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in English and any additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi, or others is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and handling of cash transactions.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a busy restaurant environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Visa Requirement: Transferable Visa 18 is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
